Come experience my whimsical watercolors. Hi! I'm Susan K. Edwards and a versatile artist who works primarily in transparent watercolor... although I will also do paintings in oil and acrylic. I have a loose "painterly" style.
I got a "Wildhair" several years ago and created my first funny cartoons & quilt-related t-shirt designs. They sold like crazy! Of course it doesn't hurt that I had a store in Historic Downtown Paducah, Kentucky... home of The National Quilt Museum and the enormous AQS Quilt Show and Contest! Only 30,000 quilters come every spring. So here we are, 6 years later, and I am still making new designs, and landed my dream job of Director of Marketing at... where else? The National Quilt Museum!

My past lives:
I escaped corporate America after making a living there for 30 years, most recently as a full-time graphic designer and writer. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and had a successful marketing firm for almost 10 years. I provided marketing expertise, copy writing, graphic arts and high-end desktop publishing services to my clients.
I've written two novels, The Gift, and a yet-to-be-published romance, Surrender. I have illustrated a book, "You Pay More Attention to the Dog, Than to Me" by Bernard Lewis. Many of my building portraits have been used in ads, websites and collateral materials. I also do corporate illustrations, cartoons and digital art.
